It was designed to meet the non-magnetic requirements of the United States military and EOD community. It features a frame locking system which keeps the entire knife assembly simple and easy to maintain. It is constructed totally from titanium, including the blade, handles, screws, pins, studs, and the removable belt clip. It was built to stand up to the very rigorous duty of military usage. The hilt was designed to achieve maximum "handle-purchase," yet feel comfortable in either hand. The angled thumb ramp naturally puts the thumb in a comfortable and blade-controlling position, yet can be quickly shifted into any aggressive grip. There is also an index finger groove cut into the blade for precision cutting work. When opened, the blade is fully locked in place by a heavy-duty frame lock, which is of exceptional strength.
